Church camp 2008, Arise & Build
Camp was quite fun i guess.
Learned quite alot from the messages and sharing.
Leading the games was also something different.
But somehow, this camp didnt feel like usual church camps.
Idk why, but this time it ended pretty fast,
we didn't have our usual captain's ball session,
(except for the time we played for 10mins),
first time bunking together w bel&audrey,
& i was unusually tired every night.
Old alr la, hahahahhah.
Food wasn't exactly very good.
I got a really bad sore throat from the oily food.
Sleeping wasn't very comfortable,
cause the 3 of us squeezed in a queen sized bed
& the last night wenxin came over,
so 4 of us were squeezing like mad on the bed!
& most of the time audrey's legs were on mine. -.-"
I felt super guilty falling asleep during the first sermon.
Idk why i was unusually tired during the camp.
Anw, i made sure i stayed awake for the rest of the sermons.
I've learned alot from the sermons really.
To abide by God, & He is really our true source of life.
Leading games was quite an experience.
At times it was difficult to get everyone's attention,
but some were really cooperative
& helped to geteveryone organised for me.
First time camp in Batam & not in Malaysia.
Boat rides make me feel queasy inside.
Anw my bro who was in charged
&successfully brought all of us to and fro(:
This morning started off with me screaming,
'AHHHHHHHHHH ITS 8.40 ALR!!!!!!!!!!!!'
Idk why my alarm didnt ring after i snoozed it,
so we were late for sharing.
Sharing was really heartwarming & encouraging anw.
Probably some day i'll have the courage to go up
and share in front of everyone too. Hah.
All in all, i've definately learned alot from the camp.
Got closer to God & understood more things(:
I really missed home when i was there anw.
I missed my very comfy mattress!
(I dont sleep on my bed at home)
Need to catch up & meet up with people
before i leave again on Thursday night.
I really really really dont feel like going Australia.
Too many pictures to upload, so just some la.
