its the 1st of January 2008.
ack, time passes so fast.

2007 has been really a roller coaster ride for me.
there was the big O's along with alot of pressure.
i did very badly for sec3 eoy.
my L1R5 even managed to hit a soaring 30.
parents were worried & they made me start studying
during the December holidays alr.
it was tough, i must say.
i did alot of catching up on emaths,
& it really did pay off.

2007 started & it was so hectic.
many tests & softball trgs.
it was really difficult to juggle.
i must admit i definitely neglected
my studies during softball season.
but after it all ended,
i really started studying hard.
softball season ended quite late,
resulting in not much time to prepare for my midyears.
results were really poor.
L1R5 was still hitting 30.

parents made me sign up for phy&chem tuition at unipath.
i really dreaded going for the first lesson.
but lynette was there to save the day.
i saw her at tuition & i was happy to have company.
even though she abandoned me after a few lessons,
at least i was more familiar with the people there.
unipath really did help quite alot.
grades started improving.
it was really tiring & exhausting though.
at times i had tuitions 5 times a week.
but thank God my tuition centres were nearby.

my mother always said,
'you O level like whole family taking with you like that!'
which was really quite true.
my dad&bro had to sacrifice their leisure time
just to revise my work with me.
my sis couldnt watch her tv cause i would be distracted.
& my mom couldnt shop much as we always had to
go home early so that i could study.
i really thank God for such an understanding family.

as prelims drew near, i was really worrying.
if i didnt do well, it would be disastrous.
i wasnt very optimistic even after my prelims.
i didnt think i would do well.
but by God's grace, somehow i managed to get 16
which i really never even dreamed of getting.
my family was very pleased of course.

this really goes to show that hard work really pays off.
i'm really thankful for friends that helped me through too.
bel&audrey&wenxin who have been encouraging me all along.
sending me msges at the appropriate times.
yj&chong as well. never fails to make me laugh.
we really spent great times together.
rinaldo&stanley, whom i can really confide in.
thank you so much for always listening to my complains.
